Cultural resource funding is available again!

Recognizing Yukon First Nations ways of knowing, doing and being and Yukon’s diverse cultures and backgrounds, the Cultural Resource Funding and Culture Enhancement Project Funding supports licensed early learning and child care programs and early childhood educators to provide culturally responsive materials, programming and experiences to the children they nurture.

The Cultural Resource Funding provides up to $500.00 for every early childhood educator actively working in licensed programs to develop resource kits to support culturally responsive programming.

The Culture Enhancement Project Funding will provide up to $5,000.00 per licensed center and $2,000.00 per licensed Family Day Home in Yukon to provide experiences and programming that connect children with their local communities and outdoor environment.
