The ELCC team is continuing our monthly learning through play workshop series for early childhood educators working in licensed early learning and child care programs.
Join us on December 9th for an exciting evening all about games! We will explore how playing games can create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for young children.
In this workshop, educators will:
- learn how games can be used to foster a love for learning;
- explore how games can develop skills in numeracy, literacy, problem-solving, fine and gross motor, and social interaction;
- examine how playing games encourages teamwork, patience and communication;
- discover how to integrate games into daily routines;
- gather ideas for easy-to-make games using everyday materials;
- engage in group discussion and gameplay.
Snacks will be provided.
