The ELCC team has combined the postponed "You and me: exploring empathy and social awareness" workshop with our "Friends and feelings: forming healthy relationships" workshop to create one enriched, hands-on session: "Growing from me to we: empathy, feelings, and friendship"

Join the us for an exciting new workshop that focuses on how empathy supports children as they shift from individual perspectives toward shared understanding, and how friendships and caring actions grow alongside emotional and social awareness. Through discussion and practical activities, educators will explore ways to intentionally support this progression during everyday peer interactions, playful learning, and imaginative social experiences.
 

Join ELCC for a two-part workshop that offers a hands-on, safe space to focus on your own wellness and mental nourishment. Both sessions are designed to be calm, creative, practical, and offer tools that support educator wellness and self regulation, both at work and beyond.

Valuing the Educator: Supporting our Human Resources

The Leaders Day of Learning is a one-day professional learning event designed for Early Learning and Child Care leaders. This event brings leaders together to reflect, learn, and strengthen their leadership practice in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

Join the ELCC team for You and me: exploring empathy and social awareness, a hands-on workshop designed to help young children (and ourselves) build the foundations of empathy and caring relationships. We’ll unpack what empathy looks like in early childhood, and explore simple, meaningful ways to nurture it through everyday interactions.

Join the Early Learning and Child Care team for Create, reflect and connect: an ELCC makerspace, an inspiring 4-hour workshop designed to spark the imagination and nurture our well being.

This makerspace session has been developed to complement both ELCC’s It Starts with a Book: nourishing SEL one story at a time series and Self-Regulation for the Educator workshop by celebrating creativity as a pathway to self care and literacy.

The Mental Health Commission of Canada identified 13 factors that can impact the mental health of employees. This workshop series will explore some of the factors that contribute to a positive workplace culture.

This session will take place on November 12, 2025 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am.
