Supported Child Care - understanding the contract

The Child Development Centre and the Early Learning and Child Care branch are hosting an in-person information session for owner/operators of licensed early learning and child care programs who want to know more about the requirements after you have been approved for supported child care.

This collaborative session is being hosted in response to questions about supported child care contract reporting requirements and the roles and responsibilities of the program, CDC, and ELCC.

The session will cover:

  • a brief look at the supported child care contract; and
  • the roles and responsibilities of:
    • the operator,
    • the early childhood educators,
    • the Early Learning and Child Care branch at the Department of Education,
    • and the Child Development Centre.

We will also discuss inclusion supports that are available.
