The ELCC team is continuing its learning through play workshop series for early childhood educators working in licensed early learning and child care programs. 

Join our team as we discover the many learning and developmental opportunities that take place while children are engaged in physical play.

In this workshop, educators will:

• explore the importance of physical play and how it supports children’s learning and development;
• discover fun and developmentally appropriate activities that support physical literacy for indoor and outdoor play;
• understand how physical play helps develop both fine and gross motor skills in young children;
• gather strategies to use in physical play activities to help children build skills such as confidence, teamwork and problem-solving;
• gain tips for creating safe, inclusive play spaces where all children can actively participate.

Snacks will be provided.
