The Mental Health Commission of Canada identified 13 factors that can impact the mental health of employees. This workshop series will explore some of the factors that contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Join the ELCC team as we continue the It starts with a book: nourishing SEL one story at a time workshop series with a new session all about finding our inner calm!

In this workshop, we will focus on the Self-Management pillar of the CASEL framework. Together, we’ll explore how to help young children recognize when their brains are “flipped,” identify strategies that help them find their calm, and create supportive environments that promote co-regulation and sensory balance.

In this 4-hour interactive workshop, educators will explore the Shanker Self-Reg® approach to stress and self-regulation. Discover how to recognize stress in your own life, reframe behaviours, and restore your energy so you can bring calm, balance, and resilience into your classroom.

In this workshop, we will focus on the first pillar of the CASEL framework: Self-Awareness. Together, we will explore how to help young children recognize, name, and express their feelings, while building a strong foundation of emotional vocabulary and awareness of internal cues.
